At TVC Church we love to gather together on a Sunday morning to worship God together. But in a large Church it can be so hard to find your place and that is why Community Groups are so important to us!
A Community Group is a place to Belong. Where you can be open, honest, loved and supported the whole week through. From big meet ups to what’s app groups – this is living as the people of God, all week long!
We love hearing little tales of these bands of people, who support each other through the ups and downs of life – so we thought we would share a few with you!
“We have loved getting back to meeting our Community Group in person! We’ve been working our way through the Well-being course which has been very well received and has made for some fabulous conversations and prayer points. They are a great group who support and pray and share with each other. At a time when we have felt weary – they have stepped up and supported us too!”
“At times, the last few months have really felt like a struggle. But then I was given a word that though it felt like I was walking through mud, God would soon make a change and it would be like walking freely again – and that is just how it has been! As a group, we have walked through some significant health and family challenges together and we continue to lift one another up. Situations that would be too difficult to face alon are shared and God has been faithful to us as a group, as well as individually.”
“A few weeks back, we met as just girls (rather than the mixed group that had been our usual rhythm). We each brought somebody who was on our heart and prayed for them by name. Out of the 4 girls that we prayed for who were not Christians, two of them were in Church with us this week! God is at work!”
