Opportunities to play your part
Each Sunday morning, we gather together as a community of believers to worship, pray, hear from the word of God and just be family together.
Our Sunday morning gathering is large, loving and loud. It takes a team of around 50 people to facilitate a Sunday morning meeting. Most of our volunteers serve on just one Sunday a month.
Could you set aside one Sunday a month to serve your family and to welcome in those who are seeking Jesus?
An important part of our time together on a Sunday is the time after our service when we have a cuppa and just enjoy being family together. We love that we are able to offer refreshments and a space not just for those who have been part of the family for years – but also for those who are new to us at TVC Church, to connect with one another.
Our hosting team are a vital part of this opportunity to gather as they extend a warm welcome to all as well as a free cuppa and a biscuit.
If you have a heart to help people to connect, belong and feel at home at TVC Church, please consider strengthening our team by offering to give one Sunday a month to arriving a little early, brewing up and then serving a cuppa after the service, with a smile.

Our Welcome team could be the perfect place for you to play your part!
Our welcome team make themselves available a few Sundays a month to provide a warm welcome to everybody who arrives at our services. To offer information or a helping hand throughout our time together. It is their heart to help people to connect in to life at TVC Church.
We love that we can join together as a great big community of believers each Sunday. In order to ensure that we can meet safely and that everybody is supported and taken care of, we rely on the service of our lovely stewarding team, who are on hand to help, support and point the way.
If you are somebody who is observant, confident and has a heart to help others, then we would love you to be part of our stewarding team.
Are you musically gifted? Would you love to use that gift in serving your church family as we meet to worship together on a Sunday?
Whether you are a singer or you play an instrument, get in touch, we would love to hear from you and to hear of your heart to draw people to worshiping the king of kings.
Our production team are a vital part of our Sunday morning gatherings as they facilitate all sorts of things – doing jobs that you didn’t even know existed! From ensuring that we know what words we are singing in our corporate worship, to making sure our services an be live streamed to reach out to those seeking Jesus from across the world.
Do you have a good ear for sound? Are you good at keeping focus and could help to keep our visuals on track? Have you secretly always fancied being a camera man?
Each Sunday, we are privileged to welcome between 80 and 100 children as we worship together as the family of God. The Bible is clear that children are VIP’s in the kingdom of God and we love that we are able to be part of their faith journey.
Do you have a heart to see children thrive in the family of God?
If you are able to sit with a small group of children and can help them to connect in to their group, then we would love you to sign up to play your part in our Illuminate children’s team.
Every second Sunday, we are privileged to host a youth service here at TVC Church. If you have a heart to see teenagers meet with God and develop their own relationship with him, then think about joining our Youth Team.
We have so many amazing volunteers who help us as we gather together as a family each Sunday and we are so thankful to them for all that they give. We would really love to begin to gather a team who are there to support those who are already serving on a Sunday.
They would largely be needed after the service to bring those serving a cuppa, pop chairs back in to place, gather any lost property and to lend a hand, particularly to the children’s teams as they pack up after all the fun and energy that has gone in to discipling our smallest family members.
If you have a heart to bless others, then we would love you to be part of a regular team that would help for 30-40 mins after the service, so that our volunteers can grab a cuppa and be blessed after they have given out during the service.
