Taking Ground Celebration

Come and join us at The Oakwood Centre for our Taking Ground Celebration.

Taking Ground is a family of churches who are all located in the North East of England and who all belong to the wider family of Salt & Light Ministries UK.  To find out more about Taking Ground, visit http://www.takingground.org.uk. 

We are delighted to welcome Ron and Mary MacLean from Winnipeg, Canada.  They are long standing friends and leaders with a passion for God’s presence.  We are looking forward to a great morning with them.

We will continue to assess the local COVID19 situation and will email out full details of our prevention measures at the Oakwood in the week leading up to the event, but booking will remain essential at the moment so that we can ensure we have a suitable capacity in place for our celebration.

We do have provision for children to worship at this Taking Ground celebration, though children will remain in their groups for the full length of the service and will not join the adults in the main auditorium.  This helps us to limit movement around the building and provide maximum capacity for all.

Please book your children in to the correct groups for their age so that we can guarantee adult/child ratios.

Fireflies – Age 2-5
Spark – Age 5-11

Youth will remain in the main service.

When booking tickets, fill in all the details for the lead person, then add additional members of your party. 

Adding an email address for the lead person only will mean that one group ticket is sent to the lead person.  If you enter separate email addresses, you will receive separate tickets.  This may be useful if you will not be arriving together.
