We just love it when our church family get in touch to tell us what God has been doing in them and through them!
When we acknowledge God in every aspect of our lives, including our finances, and we give to him, we start to see things from a perspective of, all good gifts come from the Father, and can find joy and gratitude in what may be a small aspect of our day, such as finding our favourite biscuits on offer.
God is in those tiny details, as he knows us, his children, and wants to bless and encourage us as we seek to live a life in line with his purpose.

“God has been moving us to step up with our financial giving. As we have obediently responded to this, we have seen his blessing in some unexpected ways.
Dave visited the dentist this week and needed fillings. Not only did the dentist do them there and then, he also waived the fee Dave should have paid.
We were in York recently and visited Marks and Spencer. We picked up a packet of Dave’s favourite biscuits and found out they were a free offer on my Sparks card! Plus a £10 voucher. (I had that, it was my loyalty card after all)
We went to Portrack Lane the other day to buy three new armchairs. We quickly found a chair we both liked, the last one, on sale. God made it clear to us both that we only needed this one chair. It fitted into the car boot, saving us a whopping great delivery charge, and looks smashing in our little sitting room!
This is all especially humbling because we could have afforded these things. We are learning that it’s impossible to out-give our Heavenly Father.”
